In the 24-hour period ending 5pm Thursday 14 May, it was announced that a further 20 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were confirmed to have died in hospitals in the Greater London area. A further 7 people have died where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.

The total number of reported deaths in London hospitals of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 is now 5,745. The total number of deaths where COVID-19 mentioned on the death certificate is 120.
